Amsterdam, 2015

I first started drawing during my travels. Coming from an architecture background, I found myself naturally drawn to sketching buildings more than any other subject. This quick sketch was created on a peaceful September morning in Amsterdam in 2015—a moment of slowing down, observing, and capturing the city's atmosphere through drawing.

I am an illustrator and brand designer who loves working through craft and analogue processes. My work often starts by hand and is later developed digitally, while retaining its tactile and human qualities. I believe the sensory value of art lies in the traces of making—where texture, imperfection, and craftsmanship create a deeper connection between people and visual experiences.
